RENTAL POLICIES For our Rent-To-Own program, we have chosen the following instruments based on their high quality, reliability, and superior performance: Buffet, Armstrong and Pearl Flutes Buffet and Elite Oboes Buffet Clarinets Keilwerth, Antigua and Elite Saxophones Bach, Besson, Antigua and Elite Trumpets Conn and Elite French Horns King, Besson and Antigua Trombones Besson and Elite Euphoniums Peace, Pearl and Ludwig Percussion Kits All instruments are available new; however, sometimes reconditioned used instruments are available at a reduced price. Rental Pricing Clarinets, Flutes, Trumpets, and Percussion Kits are $20 per month (plus tax). Alto Saxophones are $30 per month (plus tax). Trombones are $20.00 per month (plus tax). Oboes, French Horns, Tenor Saxophones and Euphoniums are $40 per month (plus tax). Repairs on Rental Instruments Unlike other rent-to-own instrument businesses, we do not use third party repair services that frequently take one or more weeks to conduct repairs. All repairs to the instrument you rent will be performed directly by Leonards Music. As a result, most repairs can be performed within 24 to 48 hours, significantly shortening the time you are without your instrument. All instruments are repaired for free for the duration of the rental contract.* If The Instrument Is Not Working Properly If the instrument was rented through our school rental program, most repairs can be done at your school. Please call us or e-mail us to make arrangements. If an instrument can not be fixed on site, we will give you a loaner instrument to use while yours is being fixed. All instruments will be returned the following week. Any privately rented instruments should be returned to Leonards Music for repairs. Please call us to schedule an appointment. If You Would Like To Purchase Your Instrument This is a rent to own program. If at any time you would like to purchase your instrument, all the payments you have made will be applied to the purchase price. We offer 25% off the remaining balance to you at any time. If You Choose To Stop Renting Please call us or e-mail us to arrange a pick up of your instrument. Once we receive your instrument you will no longer be responsible for payments. No money will be returned to you. We do suggest you keep your instrument over the summer if you plan on continuing in the Fall. Subject to availability, Leonards Music also rents Eb clarinets, A clarinets, bass clarinets, soprano saxophones, baritone saxophones and alto flutes. Payments Payments can be made by mailing a check each month, or we can automatically bill your credit card each month. To join our Rent To Own Program, simply print out a contract, fill it out and mail it to us. Or just call us and we'll be happy to help. Insurance Fire, Theft and Accidental Damage Insurance is available on all instruments for $3.00 per month.
