How long is this rental for?
All contracts are on a month-to-month basis.
Is there a deposit required when renting an instrument?
There is no deposit required. All rentals run on a month-to-month basis.
How do I get my instrument?
If your child attends one of the qualifying school districts, we can deliver their instrument directly to the school on the instrument pick-up night. If you rent your instrument after that date, we can still deliver the instrument to the school. Otherwise, please call or e-mail us to set up a time to pick-up the instrument here at our shop in Bedford.
I am renting multiple instruments for my children, do I need to fill out a new contract for each child?
Yes, for legal reasons as well as record keeping purposes, it is required that each instrument (and player) have their own contract filled out.
What if my child's instrument isn't working properly?
Please call or e-mail us and we will arrange to come directly to your child's school within 48 hours (qualifying schools). We will pick up the instrument, bring it back to our shop for repair & return it within 24 hours. If the instrument requires extensive repair, a loaner will be provided. Alternatively, you may bring your instrument to our shop in Bedford.
When will the instrument be mine?
Each contract has a certain number of months that will pay off the instrument. Once you have paid through the number of months listed on your contract, the instrument is yours.
What if I want to buy the instrument early?
For Band and Full Size String Instruments we offer a 35% early buyout discount on the remaining balance within the first 12 months of of the rental and 25 % after 12 months. This is available at any time during your rental. Just call or e-mail us to find out what your buyout price would be.
What if I want to return the instrument?
Just call or e-mail us and we will make arrangements to pick up your instrument at your child's school (in qualifying school districts).
